Blame Shalō H.a.L

We shot this video back in January. I had just returned from Europe and hadn't kicked it with Levelz for a minute. While we were driving to the studio, we decided to shoot a video for Blame Shalō. Footage shot by Hash Mills, Levelz for Shalō H.a.L and Emilia Mohsen for Creativity is Bliss. Not bad for a drive through Queens through the lens of an Android Phone.

Adam Sandler Is Always Lying.

I was just talking with my friends about how Adam Sandler is always lying in his movies and no less than a week after that statement was made this picture surfaces on the net. According to Gawker it's a photo from Adam's latest movie with Katie Holmes "Jack&Jill". In the film Adam's character plays both a man and a woman. Geez, He's either a heterosexual firefighter pretending to be gay so his co-worker can receive domestic partner benefits or he's a Mossad agent faking his death so that he can become a hairdresser in NYC. Oh Adam, when will you ever play a character that doesn't have a lie up his sleeve!

French filmmaker Mathieu Weschler spent two years making a film called The Trashmaster from Grand Theft Auto IV video game footage. Talk about time on your hands. Check it out if you have time on yours.

What's Beef?

This is a piece that I'm working on at The Secret Loft. I think I will call it "What's Beef?". Wet Paint ish!

Wrong Turn Loses Marathon in Japan.

Sometimes it's the person in the lead who gets the short end of the stick. As he nears the finish line in the lead, this experienced marathon runner makes one bad turn and ends up losing it all! I really feel so bad for this guy. I mean is it his fault for following the camera truck? Talk about so close, yet so far!

Hash Mills's Day Off.

This is the house that the character Cameron Fyre lived in for the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off and it's on the market for $1.65 million bucks. Not too bad for a slice of movie history. It was designed in 1953 by architects A. James Speyer and David Haid with floor to ceiling windows throughout and 5,300 square feet to play in it's a steal!I really wish my check cleared so that I could cop this ASAP. ;-)

Check out the infamous scene below...in Espanol!

Alex Jones: Is Mass Bird and Fish Die Off Connected to Government Testin...

I haven't checked this out yet, but Alex is usually on point with his information so I will post it before viewing it. Let me know what you think about his stance and I will do the same.

Thawing

We are our surroundings. How true is this? As the city thaws out from last weeks blizzard I feel as if I'm doing the same. I feel as if I'm awakening from some frozen state of being. Even though the winter is far from over and the chill is still here, I feel warm and new. Ready for anything this world has to offer. What about you? Do you feel the same? Are you aware of the potential that you have? I am...and I root for you. Let's win!

My lady suggested I should blog more often. So here goes.

Watching the world spin in the winter, during rush hour is a dark and vibrant journey. Here are some iPhone shots.

Hit + Run Versus Lord + Taylor Versus Lacoste

Last week my West Coast twin Abcnt hit me on the instant messenger to confirm if I was back in New York. I replied "yessir" and he let me know that Brandy and Mark from Hit + Run were in town to do an event at Lord+Taylor for Lacoste. I shook off my jet lag, left a wet canvas at The Secret Loft and hit up Park Avenue to surprise crew. It was interesting watching Downtown L.A's finest intermingle with New York's fashion folk and N.Y Jets cheerleaders. Here are some iPhone photos from the event which was titled "Guys' Night Out".

Real Snow in Norrköping, Sweden 2010

New Yorker's always complain. I should know because I am a native Brooklynite and can vouch for the attitudes of my fellow statesmen. Today I've been hearing a lot of people complaining about the snow. People, what you see outside is not snow. These pictures below represent real snowfall in my opinion and come to think of it this pic is from a few weeks ago! So imagine when it really becomes winter! Just looking at this picture makes me miss my baby.

9/11 FEMA videographer at Ground Zero goes public [Voltaire]

9/11 FEMA videographer at Ground Zero goes public [Voltaire]

This is a pretty interesting read that I stumbled upon. It is about a FEMA videographer who has 22 hours of secret footage from the World Trade Center bombings. Much of the footage showing discrepancies between what happened and what was reported by the media. The government is trying to extradite him for the alleged murder of his first wife in Denver, Colorado. She died in 2002 and her death was originally ruled a suicide. He is currently in South America with his second wife and young twin daughters where he is seeking asylum. It makes you wonder what the government is hiding when they go after one of their former employees with such tenacity. Read the article and feel free to comment.

Stockholm>London>NYC

These are photos of my journey from Sweden to New York City. A trip that took almost two days to complete due to a flight delay in Sweden and a connecting flight cancellation in London which was due to them receiving a hefty dose of snow the day before. It was annoying and stressful to sit in the terminal for four hours in Stockholm, only to end up sitting on the runway at Heathrow for three hours and then have your flight cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. After another three hour wait on a line filled with angry passengers I was handed a bus ticket and a hotel voucher good for one free night of room and two free meals. British Airways looks out after it messes up!

The highlight of the trip was running into the big homie D.J Premier while going through customs in London. It was a crazy coincidence to line up at customs and see Preem, his manager Gordon and artist Nick Javas. They were on their way to a gig at Fabric in London with Royce 5'9, which would have made the cancelled flight worthwhile had I made the show. They put me on the guest list for the show, but once I got to the hotel I decided to eat and I instantly passed out. This was probably a good thing, I wouldn't want to miss my rescheduled flight at 9 in the morning. Despite the delays and cancellations and crappy airline food I must say that the low point of the trip was saying bye to my baby. It's tough when you have to leave someone that you spend so much time with, but we'll be fine. All in all it was an interesting trip filled with many interesting people mostly photographed on my iPhone. I couldn't snap Preemo, due to a no camera policy at customs, however. Oh Well, enjoy!
